Jazz was a revolution in music and changed everything that we know about noise. My two favorite jazz artists are John Coltrane and Winton Marcellus. Though I rather listen to Coltrane, I do believe that Armstrong had a larger impact on Jazz itself, Mostly because of his intentive and technical abilities. I think his high point was in 1963, when he released "hello Dolly". America loved it and because of this song he even knocked the Beatles off the charts!

Then from the 1930’s onwards the popularity of the Jazz music came to a peak with the influence mainly from the African Americans. Louis Armstrong can be identified as one of the founders of instrumental jazz music, popularly known as Satchmo, he was very popular for his gravelly, natural voice, and his use of highly original phrasings, intentionally singing either slightly ahead of or behind the beat.
