Im going to report about Ray Charles. Ray Charles was the stage name of Ray Charles Robinson (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004). He was a pioneering American pianist and soul musician who helped shape the sound of rhythm and blues and brought a soulful sound to everything from country music to pop standards to a now-iconic rendition of "America the Beautiful." Frank Sinatra called him "the only genius in the business."
The Little Rock Nine, as they later came to be called, were the first black teenagers to attend all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957. These remarkable young African-American students challenged segregation in the deep South and won.
Although Brown v. Board of Education outlawed segregation in schools, many racist school systems defied the law by intimidating and threatening black students. But the Little Rock Nine were determined to attend the school and receive the same education offered to white students, no matter what. Things grew ugly and frightening right away. On the first day of school, the governor of Arkansas ordered the state's National Guard to block the black students from entering the school. But in the end the students pulled through the racist group and some even graduated.

Milli Vanilli was a pop vocal duo composed of Fabrice Morvan (born May 14, 1966) and Rob Pilatus (June 8, 1965 – April 2, 1998) that formed in Germany in the mid-1980s. In 1990, they were awarded the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, but later became the only act in history to have their Grammy stripped from them, when it was revealed that they had not been involved in the creation of their breakthrough album, Girl You Know It's True. The duo had only appeared on the album cover, and had lip-synched to pre-recorded studio singers in music videos and in concert.
Despite the scandal, the Milli Vanilli sound created by Frank Farian was ground-breaking in pop music, as it combined (American) hip hop rhythms with Eurodance melodies. In fact, some of melodic influence in today's hip-hop may be attributed to the Milli Vanilli sound's influence.
Montel Williams who is a famous talkshow host now suffering from M.S. he said when the doctor told him the news it hit him like a ton of bricks but he didnt realy know what M.S. was then he found out that it was a muscle disorder and it meant that he could eventually lose control of his body and that there is noo cure for M.S. Montell then formed a M.S. Foundation to help people that have the same problem as he does. During the battle with M.S there were times that he thought about ending it all but he always remembered his family and friends and the people that are always there for him. He sought help from Harverd Medical School and found out that he was battling M.S. on and off for about twenty years. In 1999 he went public with his battle with M.S. He was warned that opening up about M.S. could ruin his career but he said that he just couldnt remain silent about it. Every dollar made in his M.S. foundation goes to researching and finding a cure for M.S. He wants M.S. to be knocked out for good. He is still alive tpday and believes that all of his goals about knocking out M.S. can be acomplished if we all just join together in the fight against M.S.
At age 16, Alicia’s outstanding grades allowed her to finish high school. Right out of high school, Columbia University accepted Alicia Keys and though she gave it a whirl, the desire to focus on music was the driving force over all else. Highly sought-after by record labels that held good, old-fashioned bidding wars in her honor, Alicia signed to Arista Records in 1998. There, in the spirit of a genius like D’Angelo or Prince, she continued the process of writing, producing and recording the debut she’d begun penning at age 14.
